Creating a New Document (MS
Word ) Sample Lesson Plan
Objectives: At the end of
the lesson, the students should be able to:

Distinguish how to enter
and change text. Recall how to create a new document.

Apply the arrows keys on
the keyboard by moving around the document.
·
View the document
·
Explain the function of
each kinds of view
·
Save, open and close the
document.
Time Duration: 45 minutes or 1 session

A. Preparatory Activities
• Ask
B. Lesson Proper
• Present
to the students the procedure on how to create a new document.
• Then
introduce how to enter and change text.
• Present
to the students the steps on how to insert and delete texts.
• Introduce
the arrows keys and special keys on the keyboard that can be used in moving
around the document.
• Ask the
students what are the different ways that you can use in viewing the document
and explain the function of each.
• Present
to the students the steps on how to save, close, exit and open a document.
• Explain
the function of help command in the document.

Evaluation:
Identify the following.
1. It is a default and
normal view of the document showing the Ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar.
2. It allows you to
increase or reduce the view of the document.
