ICT Helpful Tools for Teaching

ICT is a communication device or application that we can communicate through technology, we can use cellphone, computer and etc, ICT we can use it everywhere, ICT is very helpful and useful to us. Using ICTs as tools for information presentation is of mixed  effectiveness.

As a Teacher the use of ICTs as presentation tools (through overhead and LCD projectors, television, electronic whiteboards, guided "web-tours", where students simultaneously view the same resources on computer screens) is seen to be of mixed effectiveness. While it may promote class understanding of and discussion about difficult concepts (especially through the display of simulations), such uses of ICTs can re-enforce traditional pedagogical practices and divert focus from the content of what is being discussed or displayed to the tool being utilized.

ICT is very helpful for teaching, we can do anything and enhance our lesson plan. Through ICT we can use a power point during in our class to assist our student to learn more effectively. In advantages of ICT is if we cannot understand some words we can search it to computer so that we can understand it better. ICT is very useful for science subject because we can search more example so through it the student will easily to understand about the lesson, through ICT I will let my student to watch movie in connected of my lesson so they will have an idea what our lesson all about and they can understand it. we can have used Power Point and other computer programs to improve our presentation of material to class. As a teacher my responsible is to guide my students, as what I know some the parents of student are in abroad, so of course we need to communicate their parents about their children, so through ICT I we can use cellphone and computer to give information about their children, ICT is very helpful to collaborate with parents especially from abroad.
